Upon arrival at Hostal Onteniente, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff who went above and beyond, even lending me a jacket when I forgot mine. The room with a balcony offering stunning mountain views was a delightful surprise, adding to the charm of our stay. The cleanliness and comfort of the room were exceptional, making us feel right at home.The location in the heart of the town allowed for convenient exploration on foot, and the proximity to the beach made it a perfect spot for relaxation. The housekeeping by Viorica was impeccable, ensuring our room was always spotless. The ease of check-in with an online process and secure access codes added a modern touch to our experience.At a stone's throw away, the sister restaurant, Onteniente, impressed us with its delectable cuisine and attentive service, exceeding our expectations. The staff, despite speaking little English, made us feel welcomed, with the manager using a translator app to assist us. The value for money at both the hostal and the restaurant was truly remarkable. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment for a memorable and relaxing getaway. Whether traveling solo, with family, or friends, this hidden gem in the heart of the town is a must-visit.
